Bass trap 60 × 60 cm
A timber frame, 15 cm of stone wool in three layers and acoustic fabric. Stand it in a corner on feet, or hang it on the wall or under the ceiling.
Thin aluminium clips: the panel sits almost flat to the wall, about 6 mm off it.
A small woven label peeks out by the right side, near the bottom.

Where to put it
- In the room’s corners, ideally those behind the speakers and behind the listening position: that is where low-frequency pressure is highest.
- Stand the 60 × 180 cm one in a corner on feet, from the floor almost to the ceiling. Hang the smaller ones in a corner or where the wall meets the ceiling.
- A gap behind the trap helps: the further from the wall, the lower it reaches.
What it won’t do
The deepest bass, below about 80 Hz, has waves several metres long. A 15 cm trap smooths it noticeably but won’t remove room resonances completely. If the boom is very strong, write to us and we’ll help with the number and placement.
